Thunderballing
Thunderballing is posting short, unimportant replies to any and all posts in an effort to reach certain Operation: THUNDERBALLZ status. This is severely looked down upon, doing this makes a mockery of THUNDERBALLZ.
Temptation
The temptation to start thunderballing seems to being in earnest when the victim has around 900 posts. The urge becomes almost uncontrollable to closer the person gets to Operation: THUNDERBALLZ.
Punishment
The ultimate punishment for those found guilty of thunderballing is to have one's post count reset to zero. This is considered an extreme punishment, however, and it's usage is rare as in some extreme cases, leads to suicide. Thus highlighting the true allure of Operation: THUNDERBALLZ.
