Can't give you much help with anything in Miami. I try to avoid the entirety of Dade county unless absolutely necessary (work is about the only reason I'll go there).


If you're gonna be on the beach, the skeeters shouldn't be an issue.


Where are you staying by the airport?  I worked about 2 miles from it for 13 years.  As far as tonight, I've got my kids & niece for the night while my wife has a girls' night out.  If you're still around Ft. Laud. on Sunday, I might be able to make it out there for a beer.

That's why you stay away from Miami...

we actully go down once a year, usually around march. my in-laws have a condo in cleawater beach and my sister in- law lives in orlando, so we do the whole disney/ universa/l whatever trip once a year for 10-14 days depending on our schedules
