I remember having that bug a few versions ago.
Are you running 14?

I am.  It seems to be an issue with the logitech setpoint bullshit.

When I disable setpoint, I only get single-page-back actions.  However, with Windows controlling the mouse, the forward/back thumb buttons (buttons 4/5 with 4 being father forward on the mouse) are reversed from my preference.  In a Windows-controlled state, button 4 (the more forward one) results in a page forward and button 5 results in a page back action.  I prefer the reverse of that.

Am I the weirdo here or do others among you use a setup like the one I prefer?

To get my preferred config, it seems that I need to use the 3rd party mouse software and when I enable it, my page jump actions result in two pages per click.  Really fucking annoying.

.. seriously though, I have never used my mouse software i remember reading a long time ago about it causing mouse lag in games. True or not it scared me off.. so I feel safer without it.  :hahaha:

I have to run setpoint to get the behaviors that I need from AutoCAD.

I guess I could try and adapt to the new "standards" that AutoDesk tries to force down their users' throats but I've been at this game a long long time - when Windows 95 was the preferred business OS and apparently before CTRL+C was a 100% across the board industry standard for copy to clipboard.  I still use the original AutoCAD definition for CTRL+C (cancel current command).  There are actually quite a few keyboard and mouse settings like this that I use that are from the earlier days of AutoCAD and that have been "replaced" in the newer versions.

I've never really wanted to try and break the muscle memory that's been etched into my hands.  I'd accept the challenge of a CAD drafting "race" where I get to use my so called old fashioned. methods against a new school guy any time.

Before I ever played my first PC based FPS, I spent about 10 years running CAD every day.  I'm certain that's why I use a pretty wonky mouse/keyboard config compared to the rest of you.
