I don't think the American public could ever be prepared enough to see the results of the wars. Everyone focuses on
friendly fire, or US troops killing civilians. My experience has been some men, women, and yes even children are shooting at you one minute then walking down the street like civilians the next. The circumstances are "lose-lose". Unfortunately truly innocent civilians do get killed, it happens, especially when the insurgency uses them as cover or as weapons. But how about the thousands killed by suicide bombers weekly, that is where the outrage should be directed.
