Well never heard of those u posted. I cant really imagine that the third one got through as I should at least have heard of it, and I havent.
Question for me personally is how huge is the difference. In France´s case we are talking about a single ban and not a basic rule so heres quite a difference. The first one.. well its Turkey.. I dont really count Turkey in as an european country tbh, they are far away from being "european" if u ask me. They are trying to get into the EU for years now and they still cant (tho it could happen in the next years actually, lets hope it wont...) So after all I am not really impressed of that lol
Idk.. this really sucks as you can see that the contries are not even trying to find a good solution and instead they are just blocking stuff. Its like the german government banning games in Germany because 1 of thousands of players had to run into a school... u know what I am talking about.. its just they dont know how to handly the situation so they take the easiest way... its a fuckin shame and a pain in the ass..

I'm glad to know that all types of governments try to take the easy way. Like throwing money at failing industries, or doing a quick fix on healthcare, and lately fixing piracy by well just blocking everything.

Its simple posturing and appeasement of those that give the legislators money and power, and follows the rule that some action is better than no action, even if its counterproductive, illogical, or corrupt.

dude I kn ow ^^ it always sounds awesome. Never really heard bad things about Canada.
Except that there seemed to be an exodus of medical personnel leaving to other countries so they could make more. And that it can get really cold in some parts.

Canada has their own crazy laws made by the entertainment industry.  All flash drives, blank cd's etc have a massive tax on them because the entertainment industry got the government to assume that everyone who buys those must be using them for pirating music.

So if one was to move to Canada, they would start selling marijuana to Americans and buying blank CD's in return... hahahahh

Yes, the infamous Marijuana-CD trade. Canucks can't get enough of those clean cheap CD's.

I saw the news on another site, but didnt read it carefully the first go 'round.  I had assumed that this was questionable seizure of terrorists propaganda sites or something.  But, no, potential copyright infringement sites.

Why the hell is the Department of Homeland Security seizing websites when there are other legal ways to do so.  Ugh, guess it's the Joe Biden - Hollywood ties...

What a waste of resources of people that are supposed to be protecting us from terrorist attacks.

l understand your pain. We've all lost websites we've loved. But we do it my way! Fear is our ally, the websites will be ours.  Then, you shall have your revenge. There has been too many seizures, too much pain.  None here are without sin.

But I have an honorable compromise.  Just walk away.  Give me the .coms, the .nets, the .infos, and the whole internet and I'll spare your lives.  Just walk away. I will give you safe passage in the Internet.  Just walk away and there will be an end to the horror.

What is it with you, huh? What are you looking for? C'mon, chillybilly, everybody's looking for something. You're happy out on the internet, are you? Eh? Surfing? One day blurring into another? You're a web user, chilly. You're a maggot. Did you know that? You're living off the corpse of the old world (copyrights). Tell me your story, billy. C'mon. Tell me your story. What burned you out, huh? Kill one man too many? See too many people die? Lose some bookmarks?
