I think putting a chip in the ball

Ahh, and now I get it.  This is all been one big joke for chilly to bring up his obsession with putting chips in balls.

Spain no having the physicality of Brasil? hm I dont really think so. The big plus for Spain is that most important players are playing together all the time.. in Barcelona. The whole mid field is from Barcelona xD
And yea I think they will do a good job against Portugal.. P. didnt seem that strong so far.

I dont know if u guys have heard about it but there is the Champions League in Europe and the Europe League which was called the UEFA Cup. They didnt add any goal-line-referees in the Champions League but they did add them in the Europe League. Well it seems like it works out quite well most of the times but whats kinda helarious is that those referees dont have that much to look at and take care of but still make huge mistakes. I think that the only way to get rid of any mistakes is technology, the question is if we really want to eliminate a part of the game.

PS: fuckin hell... Paraguay vs. Japan is so fuckin borring!!

yea it looks quite good for the germans doesnt it xD
spain didnt seem that strong today.. I mean they are allways tough to beat but when they play against us as they did today we have a good chance to win.
As all the of ur teams are out now I hope u will support Germany now :)

ummmmmm... wtf Germany for the world cup? lol

That shit was impressive...

And what the hell has Maradona done to Messi... he hasn't done much of note this entire tournament.  I mean, he set up a couple of nice goals (and one that shouldn't have counted) bet he has looked far from the planet's best player.

If Spain plays anywhere near as crappy vs. the Germans as they did against Paraguay, they're in deep shit... very sloppy and everything seemed just a tick off timing.

He didnt really do something to Messi.. he allways had problems to perform the same way as he does when playing with Barcelona. The problem is that the players around him are not playing the way he needs them too. Its tough to shine when noones around you doing what you expect them to do.
I saw one really awesome example with Robben and the Netherlands. He had the ball and passed it behind him where normally Phillip Lahm is going to help him when playing with Bayern München, this time noone was there and Robben looked stupid in this case. Its just the same with Messi. You cant play the perfect ball if noone is there were you need him and where u expect him to be.

omfg.. worst semi final that I have ever seen. The match was interesting for about 6-7 minutes out of 95, when the Netherlands scored their 2 goals and the last minutes of the match. Poor play by both teams and no engagement, no passion at all. Im impressed how bad a semi final can be. No matter who will be the other team in the finals, there is pretty much no way the Netherlands can win IMO.
What a fucked up evening lol

My DVR fails miserably....

I get home tonight, sit down to watch the match that I set to record before leaving the house this AM and, whaddaya know... it's not there  :Romanian Logic: :Romanian Logic: :Romanian Logic:

After watching the highlights, I can sort of see what you mean Squiz... looked like some sloppy play on some of those goals but holy shit what an awesome first goal.

well yea but such an awesome shot shouldnt be the only good part of a game. I missed a lot, both teams seemed to be really weak and as I said, if the Netherlands play like this in the finals they have pretty much no chance.. no matter if its against Germany or Spain.

Poor Squeegee.

But Spain was better today... Germany really fell asleep while defending that corner that lead to the goal.  Spain controlled the game better, created better chances... they're really good.  I am surprised that Germany didn't create better chances than they did.  I was expecting a 2-1 Spain win but Germany seemed to play a really reserved style and really pick and choose when to get forward.  In hindsight, it was a great game-plan as the kept Spain from scoring from the run of play.  Too bad they totally lost Puyol on one play.
