Figured it was time to update the old recruitment post for any visitors.
It's neither hard nor ornerous to join RS. You don't see us recruiting much because 1) We're lazy; not elite, 2) We tend to play on other people's servers where recruiting would be rude and 3) Most of the leagues we play in match up in teams of 6 - 10 so we don't have any motivation to have a giant squad.
If you're interesting in joining, you don't have to have a super ratio. You just have to be a generally decent person who can fit in with a bunch of 18-40 year old, generally low key, idiots who make bad jokes on TS, but generally don't ramble all day. The type of people who generally don't fit in are people who have to scream at every death, kill, and ramble on about nonsense all day. It's generally no fun for all involved to tell such people to shut up and for that person to be told to quiet down.
If you're interested in checking us out, the easiest way to get involved is to add rsthorn to
xfire and say hello. He doesn't bite (and when he does, we keep his shots up to date).
You can also get on our
teamspeak. The connection information is available on our homepage. The password rhymes with sanger and is the first word in our squad name. So, feel free to drop in. If you've figured out the password, you've already passed the intelligence test. Pop in, say you just want to hang out and see what we're like.
The final decision to join is always a two way street and basically comes down to if you feel like gaming with us and if you don't drive us batty. Skill, frequency of play etc don't really play a factor into it.
